The artist Ahmed Shaker, who's currently shooting for 'Al Ekhtiar 2', indicated that he is portraying a new character, for the first time.
Shaker, who previously admitted he was “embarrassed” by his roles, goes on saying: “Any speculation about the nature of the character I would be presenting as an officer or otherwise, was not entirely accurate."
Shaker has been rumored to reprise the defected officer who is being recruited from armed groups in Sinai or terrorist.
It's worth mentioning that Shaker has been absent from the big screen for almost several years, due to his management of the National Theatre and his great success.
"Thankful," he added, "I felt like I was missing out on acting again, but I was waiting for a special drama to get back to the audience.
It's worth noting that Shaker returned to the limelight after a long absence of several years, though part two of (Al Ekhtiar 2) series that will be displayed soon.
Al Ekhtiar was a national drama that told the stories of the heroics of the police and army defending the homeland so that it remained secure and stable.
In the same context, Shaker asserted that such series would remain immortal in the memory of drama and viewers, as movie stars after the October War presented national movies like Age Moment, and others, and still remember them all.
