Egyptian stars Mona Zaki will participate in the Ramadan 2022 drama marathon alongside Ahmed Rizk.
In a statement to "ET bil Arabi", Zaki confirmed that the series will be written by Mariam Naoum and directed by Karim El-Shennawy.
The actress participated last Ramadan with the TV series “Lebat Newton”, which achieved great success during its premiere.
It also starred Mohamed Farag, Mohamed Mamdouh, Sayed Ragab, Mohamed El-Tajy, Mayan El-Sayed, Hanan Youssef, and others.
Zaki is currently busy shooting her new film, which is produced under the working title of “Al Gawahergy”.
The film is reuniting her with prominent actor Mohamed Henedy after 23 years of shooting the 1998 film “Saidi at the American University”.
It also stars Lebleba, Reem Moustafa, Ahmed Halawa, Arefa Abdul Rasoul, Tara Emad, and others.
The film is written by Omar Taher and directed by Islam Khairy.
