In his latest interview, screenwriter Tamer Habib revealed that Ahmed Helmy and Mona Zaki are set to star together in a new artistic production after an absence of 17 years from the 2003 film "Sahar El Layaly".
On Sunday, Habib stated that there is talk between him, Helmy, and Zaki about cooperation.
"He has not settled on the production's idea and whether it will be a drama series or a film," he added.
Helmy was scheduled to make a comeback to the Ramadan 2021 drama marathon after an absence of 27 years, but he withdrew recently from the production due to the difficulty of shooting amidst Coronavirus and decided to devote himself to his new film.
Zaki is currently shooting TV series “Takato Torok” (crossroads), which is scheduled to be screen in the Ramadan marathon, which she was set to participate in Ramadan marathon with the series last year, but it was postponed.
The series marks the actress's participation in the holy month after an absence of four years since she presented TV series "Afrah El Kobba".
