Ahmed Helmy-Led Play "Memo" to Be Staged in KSA on Feb. 20

Egyptian actor Ahmed Helmy's new play "Memo" is scheduled to make its debut in February, within the activities of Riyadh season, in Saudi Arabia.

The play will be hosted from February 20 to March 1 at the Bakr Al-Sheddi stage, in Riyadh.

The cast also includes Hannah El Zahed, Hana Shiha, Ahmed Rizk, Hamdy Al Marghany, Mohamed Radwan, and others.

The play is scheduled to make its debut during the activities of Saudi Arabia's ongoing Riyadh Season.

"Memo" marks the second collaboration between Helmy and El Zahed after working on the 2023 radio series ”Aleisma fi Yadi”.

The play also witnesses the acclaimed actor’s first time to appear on stage in 21 years as he made his last participation in a theatrical production in 2001’s play, “Hakim Oyoun”.

Helmy, born on November 18, 1969, started his career in 1993 on the Egyptian Satellite Broadcast.

He made his acting debut in the 1998 acclaimed film “Aboud Ala El Hodoud” (Aboud on the Borders), co-starring with Alaa Waley El Din, and Karim Abdel Aziz.

Thereafter, Helmy quickly made a jump to leading roles in films such as “Omar 2000”, “El Nazer” (2000), “El Selem We Al Tho’ban” (2001), and "Sahar El Layali" (2003).
