Egyptian actor Ahmed Helmy announced Thursday on Instagram a new song "Ooooh" from the play "Memo".
The play achieved great success during its theatrical run in Saudi Arabia. It debuted from February 20 to March 1 at the Bakr Al-Sheddi stage, in Riyadh.
Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh, head of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, even asked Helmy and the cast of the play to re-stage it at the Benchmark stage in Riyadh.
The cast also features Hannah El Zahed, Hana Shiha, Ahmed Rizk, Hamdy Al Marghany, Mohamed Radwan, and others.
"Memo" marks the second collaboration between Helmy and El Zahed after working on the 2023 radio series ”Aleisma fi Yadi”.
The play also witnesses the acclaimed actor’s first time to appear on stage in 21 years as he made his last participation in a theatrical production in 2001’s play, “Hakim Oyoun”.
