Ahmed El Sakka-Led "Talg Ahmar" to Premiere in Eid al-Adha Movie Marathon

The release date for Egyptian actor Ahmed El Sakka's latest film “Talg Ahmar” has been unveiled.

The film is set to premiere in the cinemas during the Eid al-Adha movie marathon.

“Talg Ahmar” is scripted by Omar Abdel-Halim, directed by Hisham El-Rashedy, and produced by Walid Sabry.

El Sakka will also participate in the movie marathon with the star-studded film "Al Serb".

The cast also includes Mona Zaki, Amr Abdul Gelil, Mustafa Fahmy, Hend Sabry, Ahmed Hatem, Karim Fahmy, Asser Yassin, Sherif Mounir, Mohamed Mamdouh, Mahmoud Abdel-Moghny, Islam Gamal, and more.

The film is written by Omar Abdel Halim and directed by Ahmed Nader Galal.

"Al Serb" depicts the air strike carried out by the Egyptian army in Libya against ISIS.

The film is considered one of the largest cinematic projects of the past years.

El Sakka made his last cinematic appearance in the 2022 film “The Spider” (El-Ankaboot).

It also starred Mona Zaki, Dhafer El Ab

idine, Yosra El Lozy, Ahmed Fouad Selim, Reem Mustafa, Zaki Fateen Abdel Wahab, Akram El-Sharkawy, Mahmoud Gharib, Ramez Amir, Mohamed Lotfy, and others.

The film was directed by Ahmed Nader Galal, written by Muhammad Nair, and produced by Walid Sabry.

“The Spider” witnessed El Sakka and Zaki’s first collaboration in six years.

El Sakka, born on March 1, 1973, is an Egyptian actor. He graduated from the Academy of Arts.

He began his acting career with appearances in Egyptian mini-series and ended up co-starring in many famed Ramadan series.

Early in his career, El Sakka appeared in popular series such as “Nesf Rabeea El-Akhar”, "Nsf Rbye Alakhar", "Wamin Aldhy la Yuhibu Fatma?", "Tarwid Alsharisa", "Helm El Ganouby", and "Zayzinia S1".

He established himself as an actor in 1998 when he co-starred in the film “Saeedi Fil Gamaa El Amrekeia” (Saeedi in the American University).

In 2000, the actor received his first leading film role in “Short wi Fanila wi Cap” (Short, T-Shirt and Cap).
