Egyptian wrestler Ahmed Baghdouda, who conquered the headlines of the local news, finally addressed his escaping from the national team claims.
He posted a short video on Instagram, saying that he didn't escape.
The wrestler also thanked President Abdel Fattah El Sisi as he gifted him an opportunity to join the National Training Academy.
He concluded his talk, saying: "I love my country, and I didn't escape. Egypt is where I was born, and where I would die."

Last month, Baghdouda fled after participating in an international tournament held in Tunisia.
The delegation of the Egyptian wrestling team in Hammamet, Tunisia, was surprised by the disappearance of the national team player Baghdouda from the delegation’s residence, after being crowned with the silver medal.
