In today’s fast-growing world of squash, Egyptian talent continues to lead the international scene — and among the new generation of coaches, Ahmed Amr is becoming one of the most promising young names in the sport. From Cairo’s elite clubs to international training camps in Asia, he has built a strong coaching identity based on technical precision, modern performance methods, and a clear philosophy centered on discipline and player development.
Ahmed Amr started his coaching journey at the Shooting Club in Cairo, where he quickly became known for high-energy sessions and his ability to translate complex techniques into simple, practical drills that deliver results. His players not only improved their skills on court, but also learned discipline as a foundation for long-term success.
In 2024, Ahmed expanded his global experience by joining the Palm Hills Club Squash Camp in Hong Kong, led by world-renowned coach Amir Wagih. During this international assignment, he trained athletes across different age groups and supported tactical preparation for major tournaments. Ahmed also joined Coach Wagih in Saudi Arabia to assist in high-level squash camps, gaining exposure to new competitive mindsets and international playing styles.
Few young coaches can say they worked alongside the best — but Ahmed can. He was part of the coaching team for Mostafa Asal, current World No.1, and Salma Hany, former World No.8 and current World No.13. These experiences gave him direct access to elite training environments and the mental strength required to stay at the top of global rankings.
Ahmed is also contributing to junior development. He coached Youssef Salem, British Open and U.S. Open Under-17 Champion, and Habiba Rizk, a two-time British Open Champion in Under-13 and Under-15. Under his guidance, these young athletes strengthened both skill and passion for the sport.
In 2024, Ahmed received his certification from the World Squash Federation (WSF), reflecting his professional standards and commitment to modern squash coaching. His future vision is clear: to create a new generation of world-class champions and elevate the global standard of squash training.
With strong credentials, international exposure, and a proven record with both elite players and rising stars, Ahmed Amr is not just another coach — he is shaping the future of squash.
