EFA board member Mohamed Fadl said on Monday that the Egyptian Premier League derby between Al Ahly and Zamalek would be held as scheduled.
In statements to "Onsport" channel, Fadl said that the EFA got the approval from the security authorities to hold the game at Cairo Stadium on Monday, February 24.
Zamalek's president Mortada Mansour called upon EFA to postpone the game because of the White Knights commitments in the CAF Champions Leagues.
"There is no reason for postponing the game, we should stop talking about that matter," Fadl added.
He also asserted that the EFA is only working on serving the interest of Egyptian football.
