Al Ahly retained their Egypt Cup title after defeating Al Zamalek 2-0 in the final of the Egypt Cup in KSA.
The first goal was scored by Emam Ashour at 85:00, and Mohamed Magdy Afsha, who scored Al Ahly's victory goal in the CAF Champions League Final of the Century, at 90+5.
During the first half, Al Ahly attempted to control the field, threatening the nets of Mohamed Awad, but none of them thrashed the nets.
After a few moments, Al Ahly demanded a penalty, but the referee refused and ordered the game to be resumed.
At 12:00, Al Zamalek started to take over the game, scoring a threatening kick for Mostafa Shoubir's nets.
By the middle of the first half, Hussein El Shahat was pushed before the nets of Al Zamalek and demanded a penalty, but the referee also refused.
Next, Al Zamalek attempted to score several times, but Shoubir defended the red nets.
During the second half, Al Zamalek continued the high pressure, however, Al Ahly's Kahraba thrashed the nets of the White Knights, but the referee canceled the goal, calling the goal offside.
Ashour scored the first for the Red Devils at 84, which drove Al Zamalek to try to hit the equalizer, before Afsha killed the ambitions of the White Knights by scoring the second in 90+5.
Ashour was named the man of the match.
