Ahly reserved the third place to win the bronze medal in the FIFA Club World Cup in Qatar after defeating the Brazilian Palmeiras team in a penalty shootout, following a goalless draw, with a score of 3-2.

The match brought the two teams together Thursday evening at the Education City stadium in the Qatari capital, Doha.
