Ahli Tripoli to Host Talaae El Gaish Tonight in Arab Club Cup's Preliminary Round

Tonight, Talaae El Gaish will face the Libyan Ahli Tripoli in the preliminary stage of the Arab Club Championship Cup.

Martyrs of Beninah International Stadium, Benghazi, Libya will host the away game next week.

The Egyptian team need to win with 2 goals to advance to the upcoming stage. 

Early this week, Tala'ea El Gaish were defeated by the Libyan Ahli Tripoli 2-1 in the first leg of the game.

The first half of the match ended with the domination of the Egyptian team 1-0 through a goal scored in 21 by Karim Tarek.

Early the second half, Libyan Al Ahli's Mohamed Abdel Salam hit the equalizer for his team through a penalty.

A few minutes before the end of the match, the Libyan team scored the winning goal by Ali Maatouk.

After this preliminary stage, another round will take place for choosing the teams that will advance to the main group stage.

Only two Egyptian teams are participating in the Arab Club Championship: Tala'ea El Gaish and Al Zamalek.

However, Al Zamalek will start their participation in the tournament from the main group stage by facing Saudi's Al Nasr.
