On Thursday, Saudi media reports revealed that Ahli Jeddah is seeking to appoint a veteran coach José Mourinho, instead of Pitso Mosimane.
Local media outlets reported that the President of Ahli Jeddah will have a meeting with Mourinho in London to convince him to head the team in a few hours.
Previously, Mourinho was linked with Al Nassr after the sacking of Herve Renar.
Jose Mourinho was reportedly offered a £100 million deal to become the next coach of the Saudi Arabian national team.
The contract of the veteran coach ends in the summer of 2024. However, Mourinho may also be a target for other European clubs.
The previous deal offered to Mourinho by Saudi Arabia includes a two-year contract worth £100 million.
