CAIRO, Feb.20 (SEE)- Premier League team Wolverhampton Wanderers have expressed their interest in signing former Stoke City player Ramadan Sobhy, according to Daily Mail.

The English club showed interest in signing the Egyptian winger after he regained his amazing performance while on a loan from Huddersfield Town with the Egyptian club, Al-Ahly.

The young Egyptian failed to make a lasting impact at Stoke City, scoring only three goals in his 47 appearances with the club. His stint with Stoke last from 2016-2018.

Ramadan also failed to establish himself as a key player with Huddersfield and joined his childhood team, Al-Ahly in January on a loan to secure his place at the national team squad that will participate at 2019 African Cup of Nations held in Egypt next summer.

Ramadan was among the national team squad that lost 2017 African Cup of Nations Final to Cameroon.
