Al Ahly midfielder Mohamed Magdy Afsha has won the 2019-20 CAF Champions League fan-voted Goal of the Tournament for his strike against Zamalek.

The Red Devils had clinched their ninth CAF Champions League title after edging arch-rivals Zamalek in a historic 2-1 victory in November.

Amr El-Sulya opened the scoring for Al Ahly before Mahmoud Abdel-Razek Shikabala brought the game level after producing a sublime solo effort as Mohamed Magdy's late strike sealed the title for the record champions.

And almost a month after Al Ahly won the Champions League, Afsha’s strike received the highest number of votes to earn CAF’s Goal of the Tournament award.

The 24-year-old had an outstanding season with Al Ahly last year having scored nine goals and providing nine assists in all competitions, guiding his side to a season treble.
