Meanwhile, AFROACT Chairman Hussein Aboul Ata said the organization plans to set up its think tank in 2020 to tackle all African political, cultural, and economic issues.

Aboul Ata revealed that AFROCACT would organize a large competitive tourist event to promote intra-African tourism and all African attractions. The details of the event will be announced at a conference soon.

In the meantime, AFROACT Secretary-General Dr. Hossam Darwish said the 2020 plan is concerned with the fields of education and training by launching a training program for developing craft and traditional industries in cooperation with one of the United Nations development agencies in West African countries.

"One of the western continent countries will be chosen as the program's headquarters," Darwish noted, pointing out to signing the strategic partnership agreement with one of the international donors to fund the establishment of a vocational and technical training academy.

"In January 2020, an African cultural festival will be held in Egypt, as well as another one in Nigeria that includes art and heritage exhibitions and fair of traditional crafts and a festival for popular African food," the secretary-general added.

He also announced the opening of the first branch for the organization outside Egypt in Djibouti.
