Africa’s Total Coronavirus Cases Near 1.6 Mln

The Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) announced Thursday that the total number of confirmed Coronavirus (COVID-19) positive cases in Africa has reached 1592549.

In a statement, Africa CDC added that the death toll due to the virus in the black continent has reached 38868.

Moreover, the African center pointed out that the number of people who recovered from the virus across the continent reached 1318132 so far.

It has also stated that the most heavily affected African countries by coronavirus are South Africa, Morocco, Egypt, Ethiopia, and Nigeria.
