AFCON 2023: Get to Know Day 8 Results, Day 9 Contests

Today, the ninth day of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations is taking place. The contests of Round 2 are resumed for Groups E and F.

Morocco will face DR Congo at 4 pm (Cairo time).

Zambia will face Tanzania at 7 pm (Cairo time)

South Africa will face Namibia at 10 pm (Cairo time).

Yesterday, the Round 2 competitions for Group D were concluded. Algeria and Burkina Faso had a 2-2 draw, and Angola defeated Mauritania 3-2. Therefore, the qualifiers of this group for the next round would be determined by the next round. 

The standings of Group D after Round 2 are as follows:

Angola (4 points)

Burkina Faso (4 points)

Algeria (2 points)

Mauritania (0 points)

For Group E, Tunisia had a 1-1 draw with Mali.
