AEWXNJPW Forbidden Door 2025 to Take Place Tonight in London

AEW’s annual crossover with NJPW returns tonight, as Forbidden Door 2025 takes over the O2 Arena in London with another stacked lineup. 

The number of sold tickets crossed 17,000 with revenues close to $3 million, making it one of the most successful shows outside North America.

The card features eight championship bouts alongside high-profile tag team clashes.

AEW World Champion Hangman Adam Page defends against longtime rival MJF, continuing one of the company’s most heated feuds. On the women’s side, Toni Storm puts her title up against Athena, while Mercedes Moné defends the TBS Championship in a four-way against Alex Windsor, representing AEW, Persephone, representing CMLL and Bozilla, representing Stardom.

Elsewhere, Kazuchika Okada puts the AEW Unified title on the line against Swerve Strickland, and Zack Sabre Jr. defends the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Nigel McGuinness. 

The TNT title and AEW Tag Team titles will also be contested. Kyle Fletcher will defend his title against NJPW icon and Junior legend Hiromu Takahashi, while AEW World Tag Team Champions, The Hurt Syndicate, will defend their titles in a 3-way match against FTR and Brodido. 

AEW World Trios will be on the line as the Opps against Bullet Club War Dogs. 

Adam Copeland and Christian Cage reunite for the first time in years to face The Matriarchy, while the night also features a massive Lights Out Steel Cage Match pitting Omega, Ibushi, Ospreay, Tanahashi, and Darby Allin against Moxley, Claudio, The Young Bucks, and Gabe Kidd.
