On Tuesday, PWI announced its annual PWI 250 that dedicated to the ranking of the women pro wrestlers around the world.
The 2024 edition of the prestigious ranking was topped by AEW superstar Toni Storm due to her game changing character and gimmick Timeless Toni Storm, and her All About Eve-inspired long story with Mariah May.
Storm became the first women AEW Superstar to top the PWI rankings that dedicated to women.
The best place occupied by an AEW female superstar was in 2022 when Thunder Rosa came third on the list.
Storm was followed by TNA superstar Jordynne Grace due to her great contribution to the TNA knockouts division, work with NXT, and her roles in the indie scene.
In the third came the first member of the WWE roster, and the one who topped last year's list Rhea Ripley, followed by Japanese pro wrestler Maika.
Mexican pro wrestler, and the newly NXT signed talent Stephanie Vaquer came fifth, followed by another Japanese superstar Sareee.
The third WWE name on the list appeared on the seventh place with Bayley.
The final three spots on the top 10 were occupied by AEW/ROH superstars as Willow Nightingale came eighth, AEW Women's World Champion Mariah May came ninth, and the longest-reigning Ring of Honor Champion Athena came tenth.
