On Monday, AEW Superstar Kenny Omega made an appearance at New Japan Pro Wrestling's Power Struggle.
It was the first appearance of Omega in NJPW in more than 2 years.
Omega who was out of action for more than a year due to an injury revealed that he is ready for facing a young NJPW talent at Wrestle Dynasty on January 5, 2025.
He asserted that he is going to be returning to the ring soon.
Later on during the show, Chris Charlton said on commentary that Omega and NJPW's Gabe Kidd had a fight backstage.
Omega's final match at NJPW was in the 2023 Wrestle Kingdom when he faced Will Ospreay for the NJPW US title.
Wrestle Dynasty is the first AEW/NJPW joint show to take place in Japan's most prestigious venue the Tokyo Dome on January 5.
