The final 30 minutes of the WWE Smackdown Supersized had two important segments: a match between the Man, Becky Lynch, who holds Smackdown Women's Championship, and the Boss, Sasha Banks, and the contract signing session between WWE Universe Champion, the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns, and the Beast, Brock Lesnar, for their Crown Jewel match.
The two segments recorded 285,000 views on the US cable, on the other hand, AEW Rampage segments got 328,000 views.
AEW Rampage's segments carried a match between the Best in the World, CM Punk, against Matt Sydal, who was previously known as Evan Bourne.
Regarding the total viewership for both shows, WWE Smackdown got more than 800,000 which is lower than the previously recorded figures, while AEW Rampage got more than 500,000 which is a higher number than last week's viewership.

It is worthy to mention that the concept of the 30-minute-head-to-head-war came to the surface after AEW's CEO Tony Khan criticized WWE's decision of stretching the duration of Smackdown's episode for extra commercial-free 30 minutes.

So, those 30 minutes of Smackdown would be parallel with the first 30 minutes of the Rampage show. Khan highlighted that he has already set the show's card.

Next, Khan decided to move the matters a little bit higher and add another free Buy-In Rampage show on Youtube for one hour before the main episode.
All wrestling fans started to shift between both shows to catch the strongest segments in them.
