Tonight, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) will represent its third and annual edition of its AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam.
The event will take place at the prestigious Arthur Ashe Stadium for its Dynamite, and Collision's Grand Slam.
The promotion did a great job in providing its audience with a better build for the PPV-quality TV event, and more great promoting job for the event to beat the fall in ticket sales.
It seems that the efforts of AEW succeded as the sales for Grand Slam in New York saw a great improvement.
The event will see three top stories that all Pro Wrestling fans are anticipating their contests.
Starting from ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli and NJPW Strong Openweight Champion Eddie Kingston will collide.
The rivalry between Castagnoli and Kingston lasts for more than 20 years, since both stars are in their first ROH run.
They collided against each other last year, but Kingston considered the business is not done yet.
The action surged after Kingston's best friend, Jon Mox, supported his BCC mate, Castagnoli, over him.
Other friends will collide against each other at the same night as Chris Jericho will face his student Sammy Guevara for the first time ever.
The biggest story at the night is of course the anticipated fight between AEW World Champion MJF and ROH World TV Champion Samoa Joe for AEW World title.
Joe escalated against MJF after the end of MJF and Adam Cole's match at "All Out" when Joe pushed MJF on the pyro which led to a physical altercation.
Then, both exchanged scorching promos which led to another physical altercation.
Joe won the Grand Slam tournament for earning the title shot against MJF.
The event also will include an AEW International title match between the Champion Mox, and Rey Phenix after the brutal attack of Mox against Phenix before "All In."
Moreover, Saraya, the newly crowned AEW World Women's Champion, will face her outcast fellow Toni Storm for the title.
