On Tuesday, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) announced that participants in the third AEW Continental Classic tournament. The tournament will begin on November 27, Thanksgiving Eve.
This year's edition will witness several names who will make their Continental Classic tournament debut such as Kevin Knight, Speedball Mike Bailey, and Mascara Dorada.
Kazuchika Okada will participate in the tournament the Continental Classic reigning champion. He was the winner of the last year’s edition
IWGP World Heavyweight Champion and 2025 NJPW G1 Winner, the tournament Okada won 4 times through his career, Konosuke Takeshita is also set for 2025 Continental Classic.
The tensioned relationship between Okada and Takeshita is one the major build factors of this year’s tournament.
The participants of the Continental Classic are divided into two blocks: Blue League, and Gold League.
The players of each block will face each other, and the player who collects the highest score and heads the league will face the top player of the other league in the final of the tournament.
