Dr. Wasfi Amin Wasef, advisor to the head of the Gold and Precious Metals Division at the Federation of Industries, said that citizens coming from abroad with gold bullions will face a problem in selling them in the local markets, because they are not stamped, and they have not been examined within the

Stamps and Weights authority.

He added that the owners of such bullions must go to the authority to complete the examination and stamping process, while paying its fees, which are estimated at 160 piasters per gram.

Wasef explained that gold traders will not buy these bullions from citizens if they are not stamped.
