Under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the activities of the international musical show of the Adriatique band kicked off from the Temple of Hatshepsut in Luxor, in the presence of nearly 3,000 tourists.
Mostafa Waziri, the Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, explained that the organization of such events in archaeological sites contributes to increasing the tourist movement coming to the Egyptian tourist destination and the occurrence of a tourist boom in the archaeological sites in the city where the event is organized.
On his part, Amr Al-Qadi, the CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, indicated that the Authority's sponsorship of such events and their establishment in archaeological sites is considered propaganda for the Egyptian tourist destination and comes within the framework of the features of the media strategy to promote tourism to Egypt.
Iman Abdel Rahman, the Director General of the General Department of Tourism Awareness at the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, indicated that this event was broadcast on the digital platforms of the company organizing the event, which has nearly 60 million viewers and followers worldwide.
She emphasized the importance of digital platforms, which have a high viewership rate, in advertising and promoting the Egyptian tourist destination and its various tourism products, as well as the various tourism and archaeological elements it boasts.
It is worth noting that the Temple of Hatshepsut in Deir el-Bahari in Luxor witnessed the celebration and fashion show of the international Italian fashion house, Stefano Ricci, on the occasion of the celebration of the golden jubilee of the house.
The Pyramids of Giza also witnessed the fashion party for the men's collection of the international French fashion house, Dior, for fall-winter 2023.
