Egyptian actor, Mohamed Qishta has passed away following a struggle with illness.
The late actor's funeral prayer took place in his hometown in Banha City, Qalyubiyya Governorate, with his condolence marquee taking place at his home in Cairo.
In a statement, Mounir Makram, a member of the Actors' Syndicate, disclosed the actor's cause of death was attributed to kidney failure, a disease that he had recently suffered from.
Qishta was transferred to intensive care after his kidneys stopped working completely in his final days. He remained in the ICU for nearly a week before his untimely death.
the late actor suffered from several successive health crises over the past period. His health disease began two months ago when he fell in the bathroom of his house after suffering a stroke that led to a broken thigh, which required him to undergo surgery.
The late actor began his acting career in television in the early 2000s and presented over 200 works.
He shared screen time with top-notch stars such as Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Yousra, Mohamed Henedy, Tamer Hosny, and Nour El-Sherif.
Qishta is known for his roles in film and TV productions such as "Mahmoud Elmasry", "Aelat Haj Metwali", and "Hadith Alsabah wa Almasaa".
He made his last onscreen appearance in the 2020 TV series "Qut Al-Qulob", starring Magda Zaki. Later on, he stepped away from the acting scene after suffering from health problems.
