Accountability-Driven Leadership Takes Center Stage at EGYPES 2026

Leadership built on accountability and decisive action will be in the spotlight at the Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES 2026), as industry leaders and policymakers gather for a high-level panel discussion in Cairo.

Scheduled from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. in the Spotlight Hall, the session titled “The Power of Accountability and Action-Centred Leadership” forms part of the conference’s Leadership and Development program. It will explore how leaders can effectively navigate increasingly diverse and multicultural workplaces by fostering responsibility, clarity, and results-driven strategies.

The panel brings together prominent voices from across the global energy and policy landscape, including Hany Esmat, Chief Executive Officer and Country Chair of Petronas; Josie Christodoulou, Commissioner for Gender Equality in the Republic of Cyprus; and Mavis Anagboso, Global Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Harbour Energy.

The discussion will be moderated by Tania Imani, who is expected to steer conversations on how leadership accountability can drive stronger organizational performance and workplace engagement.

Organizers say the session will highlight the growing importance of leaders who take ownership of outcomes while promoting inclusive environments that empower teams and build trust.
