AC Milan fell to a 3-0 defeat against Udinese Calcio on Saturday at San Siro in matchday 32 of the Serie A season.

Milan’s troubles began in the 27th minute when defender Davide Bartesaghi scored an own goal, giving Udinese the lead.

Jurgen Ekkelenkamp doubled the advantage in the 37th minute, before Arthur Atta sealed the victory with a third goal in the 71st minute.

Despite the loss, Milan remain third in the standings with 63 points, while Udinese move to 10th place with 43 points.

Milan fielded a lineup that included Mike Maignan in goal, alongside key players such as Luka Modric, Adrien Rabiot, Christian Pulisic, and Rafael Leao.

The defeat is a setback for Milan as they aim to secure qualification for next season’s UEFA Champions League, a competition they missed this season despite their historic success, having won the title seven times, most recently in 2007.
