AC Milan claimed an important 2–1 win over Pisa at the Arena Garibaldi – Stadio Romeo Anconetani, in the opening match of Round 25 of the Serie A 2025–2026 season.
Milan opened the scoring in the 39th minute through Ruben Loftus-Cheek, giving the Rossoneri a deserved first-half lead.
Pisa responded in the 71st minute with an equalizer from Loris Lucca, setting up a tense finale.
Veteran midfielder Luka Modrić struck the decisive goal in the 85th minute to restore Milan’s advantage.
Moments before full time, Milan midfielder Adrien Rabiot was sent off in the 91st minute, but the visitors held on to secure all three points.
With this victory, Milan move into second place in the Serie A standings with 53 points, trailing leaders Inter Milan, who sit on 58 points. However, the Rossoneri still have a game in hand.
Pisa remain bottom of the table with 15 points.
Milan have suffered just one defeat in the league this season, the fewest among Serie A clubs, recording 15 wins and 8 draws so far.
