AC Milan secured a dramatic 3-2 win over Torino FC on Saturday evening at the iconic San Siro, in a Matchday 30 clash in Serie A.
The match began with a balanced tempo, as both sides battled for control in midfield. Milan broke the deadlock in the 37th minute through Strahinja Pavlović, who capitalized on a loose ball inside the penalty area.
Torino responded just before halftime, with Giovanni Simeone finding the equalizer in the 44th minute to send the teams into the break level at 1-1.
The hosts came out strongly in the second half, regaining the lead in the 54th minute through Adrien Rabiot.
Just two minutes later, Youssouf Fofana extended Milan’s advantage with a third goal, putting the Rossoneri in a commanding position.
Despite the setback, Torino refused to concede defeat. Their persistence paid off in the 83rd minute when Nikola Vlašić converted a penalty to reduce the deficit, setting up a tense finale.
However, Milan held firm in the closing stages to secure all three points.
With the victory, Milan climb back into second place in the Serie A standings with 63 points, overtaking Napoli, who sit third with 62 points.
League leaders Inter Milan remain at the top with 68 points.
Meanwhile, Torino stay in 14th place with 33 points, as their inconsistent run of form continues this season.
The win strengthens Milan’s push in the title race, keeping pressure on their city rivals Inter as the season enters its decisive phase.
