Abu Rida in Contact with Liverpool and Manchester City to Resolve Salah and Marmoush Crisis

English press reports revealed that Hani Abu Rida, president of the Egyptian Football Association, is personally in contact with Liverpool and Manchester City to resolve the crisis surrounding Mohamed Salah and Omar Marmoush's participation in the Egyptian national team's training camp before the start of the Africa Cup of Nations, which will be hosted by Morocco on December 21.

The "City Extra" network stated that Manchester City is under pressure from the Egyptian Football Association to release Omar Marmoush to join the Egyptian national team camp early, especially after Hossam Hassan, the Pharaohs' coach, decided to begin the pre-tournament training camp next Monday instead of December 7.

The report explained that Manchester City is seeking a settlement with the Egyptian Football Association to retain Omar Marmoush's services for as many matches as possible before allowing him to join the Egyptian national team.

Egypt will face Nigeria on December 14 at Cairo Stadium in their final rehearsal before traveling to Morocco for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. On the same day, Manchester City will play a heavyweight away game against Crystal Palace in the English Premier League.
