Aboul Enein Attends New HoR Opening Session

MP Mohamed Aboul Enein is participating in the opening session of the House of Representatives (HoR), which began a short while ago.

Aboul Enein received a warm welcome from the MPs who are preparing to take the constitutional oath, to carry out their duties in the House of Representatives.

The opening procedural session of the second legislative term of the House of Representatives for the period (2021-2026) kicked off today, Tuesday at 11:00 AM Cairo local time, as President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued last Friday a presidential decree for the House of Representatives to convene on Tuesday, in order to begin the next legislative term.

The session is held amid strict precautionary and preventive measures to prevent the spread of emerging.

Farida Shobashi, a member of the House of Representatives, is chairing the opening session of the legislative term of the 2021 Parliament, in her capacity as the oldest member. she is the first woman to chair the House of Parliament in the history of Egypt.

During the opening session, a new Speaker and two deputies will be elected then the new speaker will take over the chairmanship of the session from Shobashi.
