Abou El-Enein: Sisi Highlighted Africa's Interests during 'TICAD 8' Summit

MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein, Parliament Deputy Speaker, and Chairman of Egyptian-European Business council praised the Japanese Ambassador in Cairo Noki Masaki as a "loyal friend" for Egypt and Japan. 

 

In his word During an honoring ceremony held by the Egyptian European Council, to bid farewell to the Japanese ambassador, Abou El-Enein confirmed that Noki was always keen to attend all meetings related to Egyptian-Japanese ties, in order to achieve the desired result.

During the "TICAD 8" summit, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi spoke about the African continent's interests, and the awakening of the black continent peoples, Parliament deputy speaker stressed.

 

Moreover, President Sisi also promoted the giant projects in the continent, during "Russia- Africa" and "UK-Africa" summits, especially the Cairo-Cape Town road, and the project to link marine and land transport across different parts of the continent, as well as industry and agriculture modernization to give an added value to African products, Abou El-Enein added.

The chairman of the Egyptian-European Business Council expressed happiness that the volume of trade exchange between Cairo and Tokyo has increased by more than 20% during the current year, hoping that the Egyptian ambitions regarding the Japanese tourism market, would be realized.

In addition, Abou El-Enein said that cooperation with Japan in infrastructure, culture, and education fields has become one of the key pillars of bilateral relations between both countries, hailing Japan's significant efforts to develop this relationship.
