Abou El-Enein Partakes in Egyptian Family House 10th Anniversary Celebration

MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein, Parliament's Deputy Speaker participated on Monday in a celebration, held to mark the 10th anniversary of the Egyptian Family House (EFH).

 

The event was attended by Al-Azhar Grand Imam Shiekh Ahmed El-Tayyeb, Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria, and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, as well as a number of senior officials and public figures.

 

 

The conference will discuss a number of themes over five sessions, including religious tolerance and its role in supporting community peace, and the impact of citizenship in consolidating coexistence.

Moreover, it will tackle the Egyptian family house's role in preserving national identity and confronting violence against women and corruption, in addition to discussing the "Together for Egypt" initiative and its role in enhancing intellectual security.

Egyptian Family House (EFH)

Family House works on promoting the Muslim and Christian values of compassion, empathy, and understanding, as well as upholding the principles of coexistence and tolerance.

It also monitors and proposes preventive means to maintain community peace.

Moreover, EFH aims to encourage the culture of peace and acceptance of others and counter hatred and violence.
