Deputy Speaker Mohamed Abou El-Enein stressed that the human rights file in Egypt requires a comprehensive understanding, including civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights, as well as the rights of women, children, elderly, and people with disabilities, in addition to education and capacity-building.
Abou El-Enein added that human rights is in integration with Egypt’s national development path, which consolidates the principles of the new republic, and achieves the goals of Egypt’s Vision 2030, noting that there are pressures from some countries in this file, which neglected human's basic rights.
This came during an honoring ceremony held by the Egyptian European Council to bid farewell to the Japanese ambassador in Cairo.

President of the Egyptian-European Business Council said that the Egyptian strategy for human rights stems from an Egyptian subjective philosophy, which is integrated and self determined.
He stressed that President Sisi spoke about the philosophy of the human rights strategy, which believes in the importance of achieving integration in the process of upgrading society, which will not be complete without a clear national strategy for human rights, concerned with challenges, dealing with them, and taking into account the values of society.
Abou El-Enein pointed out that there are those who are trying to distort Egypt's image in a vengeful way, but the truth is clear and one. "Human rights are the achievements that ambassadors see on the ground in all files in order to raise the standard of living of citizens, which refutes all malicious lies," the MP said, adding that Foreign ambassadors have a great role to play in highlighting these facts to officials in their countries.
