Member of Parliament Mohamed Abou El-Enein greeted on Wednesday Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark on the occasion of Christmas.
With sincere feelings of love and peace, Abou El-Enein sent sincere congratulations and best wishes to the Pope and the Egyptian Copts on Christmas, wishing more security, stability and prosperity to all Egyptians.
"We ask God Almighty that our festivals be a source of new hope for salvation from the exceptional circumstances that the world is going through, and for preserving our dear country, Egypt and its great people from all harm," Abou El-Enein said.
The business tycoon added that the words of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's in congratulating Coptic brothers and sisters on Christmas came to reflect the feelings of all Egyptians and enhance the meaning of citizenship, persity in Egypt.
He pointed out that "Egypt, with the interconnectedness between its Copts and Muslims, will remain a model of tolerance, love and national unity," wishing the country more cohesion, peace and stability.
