Abou Al-Enein Charitable Foundation took part in the celebration of International Volunteer Day at its Alexandria office, organized by the National Alliance for Civil Development Action under the theme “Every Contribution Makes a Difference.”
The event was attended by representatives from alliance member organizations, volunteer leaders, and a number of public figures.
During the celebration, the foundation expressed its sincere appreciation to over 15,000 volunteers who have participated in its programs and initiatives throughout the year, directly supporting 250,000 families across Egypt’s governorates.
The foundation emphasized that volunteers are the cornerstone of its ongoing efforts in charity and development.
The event, which took place on Friday, featured a series of dialogue sessions and workshops addressing key issues shaping the future of civil society work in Egypt, notable topics included the Impact of Volunteering on Society and its role in improving the quality of life, digital Transformation in Development Institutions and how technology can enhance service efficiency, and specialized Workshops on the “Life Cycle of a Volunteer” within civil society organizations, as well as a workshop on the “Volunteer Code of Ethics,” aimed at establishing clear, professional standards for volunteering practices.
Abou Al-Enein Foundation emphasized that this day serves as an opportunity to exchange experiences and highlight the vital role volunteers play in development efforts. The foundation also reiterated its commitment to expanding volunteer opportunities and offering more chances for youth to contribute to national development.
The celebration concluded with a heartfelt tribute to every volunteer who has been a true partner in creating hope and making a tangible impact on the lives of thousands of families.
