Early Saturday, popular journalist and novelist Osama El Shazly passed away at the age of 50 years old after a sudden health crisis.
The news was announced by his wife, who added that the funeral prayer took place, today, at Fatima El Sharbatly Mosque in 5th Settlement, New Cairo, and the burying was at the family's graveyard.
Born in 1973, El Shazly wrote various famous literary works like "Sayed Al Ahlam," "Qahwet El Horriya," "Kafr El Abeet," "Nadim El Adam," and Nostalgia.
In addition, he wrote two of the most successful books in the previous five years: "Awraq Shaamoun El Masry," and "Aahd Demyana."
Various famous authors mourned the death of El Shazly like Omar Taher, and Mohamed El Dousoky Roshdi.
