20th Century Studios has unveiled the teaser trailer for Kenneth Branagh's "A Haunting in Venice".

The cast also incudes Kyle Allen, Camille Cottin, Jamie Dornan, Tina Fey, Jude Hill, Ali Khan, Emma Laird, Kelly Reilly, Riccardo Scamarico, and Michelle Yeoh.

Branagh is set to reprise his role as Inspector Hercule Poirot and will also return to direct the pic. Michael Green adapted the script, which is based on Agatha Christie’s Hallowe’en Party.

“A Haunting in Venice” takes place in post-World War II Venice on All Hallows’ Eve and features the return of the celebrated sleuth, Hercule Poirot. Now retired and living in self-imposed exile in the world’s most glamorous city, Poirot reluctantly attends a séance at a decaying, haunted palazzo. When one of the guests is murdered, the detective is thrust into a sinister world of shadows and secrets.

The terrifying mystery is the studios’ third movie based on a novel by Christie, reuniting the team of filmmakers behind 2017’s "Murder on the Orient Express" and 2022’s "Death on the Nile".

The movies are vivid in imagery, action-packed, and always feature a brilliant cast.  While the previous movies have been met with mixed reviews, they both grossed millions over their production budget and were generally appreciated by critics. Worldwide, "Murder on the Orient Express" grossed more than $351 million, and "Death on the Nile" pulled in $137.3 million earlier this year.

"A Haunting in Venice" hits theatres on September 15.
