At least 91 Palestinians were killed in a series of deadly Israeli airstrikes and attacks across the Gaza Strip from Tuesday evening until Wednesday morning, according to medical sources cited by the Palestinian news agency WAFA.
The latest wave of violence struck multiple areas across the enclave, marking one of the bloodiest escalations since the recent ceasefire violations. Medical officials reported 31 fatalities in northern Gaza, 42 in central areas, and 18 in the south, as Israeli forces continued their overnight bombardments.
Health authorities warned that the death toll is expected to rise, with dozens of people critically wounded and many others still missing beneath the rubble of destroyed homes. Emergency and rescue teams are continuing to operate under extremely difficult conditions, hindered by widespread destruction, damaged roads, and heavy debris in densely populated neighborhoods sheltering displaced families.
