The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that at least 9 people were killed on Monday evening in two Israeli raids that targeted two towns in southern Lebanon, in a death toll that is the heaviest since a fragile truce between Israel and Hezbollah entered into force last week.
According to Sky News, the ministry said in a statement that “the Israeli enemy’s raid on the town of Haris left five people killed and two others injured while “the Israeli enemy’s raid on the town of Tallouseh left four people killed and another one injured.
On Monday night, the Israeli occupation army announced that it was striking targets it considered “terrorist” in Lebanon, in a renewal of its raids that it launched on areas in southern Lebanon earlier the same day.
