9 Killed in Russian Shelling in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia

9 people were killed in the Russian shelling on the outskirts of Zaporizhzhia in Ukraine, Al Arabiya news channel reported in breaking news on Saturday.

This morning, the Ukrainian forces imposed a curfew in Zaporizhzhia for a period of 38 hours. Kyiv stated that 10 humanitarian corridors had been approved to open today, including one from Mariupol.

The Russian-Ukrainian war entered its twenty-fourth day in a row, on Saturday. The war killed thousands of soldiers on both sides and millions displaced from the Ukrainian side, since the start of the Russian operations in Ukraine on February 24.

Several countries imposed major economic sanctions on Moscow; President Vladimir Putin, as well as Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov are on top. Russia responded by imposing personal sanctions on a number of US and Canadian leaders; on top of them is US President Joe Biden.
