English football will once again have a major presence in European competitions next season after nine clubs secured qualification across the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and Europa Conference League.
The achievement underlines the continued dominance of Premier League clubs on the continental stage following another strong European campaign.
Crystal Palace F.C. secured a place in next season’s Europa League after winning the UEFA Europa Conference League, despite finishing 15th in the Premier League standings.
The historic continental triumph helped the London side rescue an otherwise disappointing domestic season.
In the UEFA Champions League, England will be represented by Arsenal F.C., Manchester City F.C., Manchester United F.C., Liverpool F.C. and Aston Villa F.C..
Meanwhile, AFC Bournemouth, Sunderland A.F.C. and Crystal Palace will compete in the Europa League, while Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. will feature in the Europa Conference League.
The figure matches the number of English clubs involved in European competitions this season, highlighting the depth and consistency of Premier League sides in continental tournaments.
Attention now turns to the UEFA Champions League final on May 30, where Arsenal will face Paris Saint-Germain F.C. as the Gunners look to continue England’s European success and win the competition for the first time in the club’s history.
