Mostafa Al Sarty won in his contest against Yehi Al Nassani 3-0, and Youssef Ibrahim won in his 50-minute contest against Tsz Kwan Lau 3-2.
In the same context, Omar Mosaad defeated James Willstrop 11:7, and Mohamed El Sherbiny defeated Dimitrie 3-1. In addition, Karim Al Hammammi beat Adrian Waller 3:2.
For women's competitions, Sana Ibrahim won 3-2 against her Malaysian opponent.
Farida Mohamed defeated Marina 3-1, Amina Orfi beat Sivasangari Subramaniam 3-0, and Nada Abbas won against Yanna Shikha 3-0.
Nadin Shahin defeated Marie Stephan 3-0.
