In Balochistan, Pakistan, torrential monsoon rains have claimed the lives of nine people and injured more than 25 others.
The severe weather has also caused extensive damage to infrastructure and homes in the region, according to reports from local authorities.
The Pakistani Disaster Management Authority in Balochistan has reported that the heavy rains have destroyed 88 houses and partially damaged 170 others.
Additionally, 17 kilometers of roads and 310 acres of agricultural land have been affected by the flooding.
Despite the intense monsoon rains, the condition of the dams in Balochistan remains stable.
The authorities continue to monitor the situation closely to prevent further damage and address the needs of those affected.
