In a recent development, the Taliban revealed that eight individuals, including three children, lost their lives in airstrikes conducted by Pakistani aircraft on border regions of Afghanistan.

Zabihullah Mujahid, a spokesperson for the Taliban movement, disclosed that the airstrikes occurred around 3 am (22:30 GMT) on Sunday night, targeting civilian residences in the border provinces of Khost and Paktika.

Mujahid further noted that among the eight casualties were women and children.

The Taliban government vehemently denounced these attacks, decrying them as a flagrant violation and infringement upon Afghanistan's sovereignty.
