Somalia: 8 Killed as Deadly Blast Hits Mogadishu

At least eight people died and 17 others were wounded in "a suicide car bombing" in the Somalia's capital Mogadishu early Thursday, according to the Somali police.

The Somali police told the international media that the death toll could rise after a suicide bomber targeted a convoy escorting foreign security forces near a local school in the Hodan district in Mogadishu.

The Somali police revealed: "At least eight were killed and 17 others injured in the blast. The blast occurred in front of Muasir school and children are among the casualties."

The terrorist operation caused a massive blast in the Hodan neighboring wounding several people and damaging the Muasir school.

It's noteworthy to mention that Al-Shabab militants have claimed responsibility for the latest attack in the restive city.
