Salma Hany won her game against Georgina Kenedy 3-2, on the other hand, Farida Mohamed lost to Olivia Weaver.
For men's competitions, Tarek Mo'omen defeated Farza Khan 3-0, Ali Farag won his game against Omar Mosaad 3-0, and Yehia El Nawsani defeated Ali Abou El Enein 3-0.
