Prof.dr. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif, said that the Palestinian cause is the most important pivotal issue for Muslims.
Al-Tayeb stressed that "Al-Azhar will not hesitate to take the lead to defend the Palestinian people, and expose the abuse, injustice and massacres they are subjected to, and the violations practiced by the occupying Zionist entity for all international, humanitarian and moral conventions."
Al-Azhar sent the third convoy to help our people and brothers in the Gaza Strip, consisting of 17 large trucks containing food, relief and shelter supplies, especially winter needs.
This convoy is part of the "Rescue G., Zah" campaign, where the total assistance provided by the Zakat House to the relief of our people in G.Za so far reached 75 large trucks, loaded with medicines, food, relief and shelter and living supplies
